Find the Studio

Reyes Ink is located in Miami's Wynwood Arts District — one of the most creatively charged neighborhoods in South Florida. The studio sits at 2847 NW 2nd Ave, surrounded by galleries, murals, and the kind of artistic energy that informs Miguel's work every single day. It's a fitting home for a practice built on artistry over output.

Because Reyes Ink is an appointment-only private studio, there is no walk-in access. All visits are scheduled in advance following your initial consultation. This ensures Miguel can give his full attention to your design without interruption — the kind of focus your tattoo deserves.

Before You Reach Out

Here are the answers to the questions Miguel hears most often. If yours isn't covered here, don't hesitate — just send a message and you'll get a direct, honest response.

Miguel is currently booking approximately three months out — a reflection of the demand for fully custom, one-of-a-kind work. The best way to secure a spot is to fill out the contact form above as early as possible. Once Miguel reviews your inquiry and confirms the project is a fit, you'll be given a consultation date and a deposit is required to officially hold your appointment.

Cancellations do occasionally open up, especially for smaller pieces. If you're flexible with timing, mention that in your message and Miguel will keep you in mind if a slot becomes available sooner.

Both. Miguel encourages you to bring reference images — photographs, artwork, mood boards, anything that communicates the feeling or subject you're going for. Your references help him understand your taste and direction. However, every design at Reyes Ink is created from scratch, specifically for your body and your vision. You will never receive a copy of someone else's tattoo.

The consultation is where this collaboration happens. Miguel will ask questions, share his perspective as an artist, and present a custom design before your appointment date. Minor revisions are welcomed — the goal is that you love every line before the needle touches your skin.

Reyes Ink does not publish flat rate pricing, because every piece is genuinely different. Pricing is based on size, complexity, placement, and estimated session time. Miguel charges a day rate for full sessions and a minimum for smaller work. Full sleeves and multi-session projects are priced as a package after the consultation. What you can expect is straightforward, transparent pricing — no surprises, no upselling.

Session length varies significantly depending on the scope of your piece. Small fine line work may be completed in two to three hours, while a detailed realism portrait sleeve is typically spread across multiple full-day sessions over several months. Miguel will give you a realistic time estimate during your consultation so you can plan accordingly.

"Miguel does the most insane realism I've ever seen in person. My portrait sleeve gets stopped everywhere."

— Daniela R.

"Private studio, no walk-ins, fully custom — worth every penny. Booked out 3 months for a reason."

— Marcus T.

"Came in with a rough idea and left with a piece I'll have forever. The consultation alone sold me."

— Priya K.
