About Ivy & Ash
A small studio
built around
color
Ivy & Ash Hair Studio is a small, color-focused salon in Valencia, California. We keep the chair count low and the attention high — lived-in blondes, balayage, and precision cuts, one guest at a time.
Why we stayed small
I opened Ivy & Ash because I wanted a room where color got the time it actually needs. Lived-in blondes and balayage aren't fast services — they ask for an unhurried eye, a real conversation first, and a plan for how the color will grow out over the next six months.
So the studio stays deliberately small. One guest in the chair, my full attention, and a pace that lets the work land softly. Nothing here is rushed out the door.
Good color should look like it belongs to you — not like it happened to you last Tuesday.
That philosophy shapes everything on the menu: lived-in blondes that melt into the natural base, balayage placed by hand for how you actually wear your hair, and precision cuts that hold their line long after you've left.
If you've been chasing a blonde that never quite settles, or a cut that grows out instead of growing weird — that's the guest this studio was built for.
How a visit works
Every appointment follows the same three steps — no surprises, no upsells mid-foils.
The consultation
Before any color touches your hair, we talk — what you love, what you're tired of, how much upkeep you actually want. Lived-in color starts with honest expectations, not a Pinterest board on mute.
The work
Color is placed by hand, strand by strand, in a studio kept to one guest at a time. Tools and station surfaces are cleaned and sanitized between every appointment — that part isn't a policy, it's just how the day runs.
The plan forward
You leave with more than a blowout: we map out when to come back, how the color will grow out, and what to do at home between visits. Balayage from $220, cuts from $65, silk press from $85.

The best way to know if we're a fit is a conversation. Call or book online — we'll find a time to talk about your hair before anything else happens.
